Catching Up

It's about time I updated this blog! I still haven't gotten a single call from the wedding show. I've given up and it's time to move on. Weddings aren't really what I love to do anyway, I had just hoped to make some money at it. My real passion always has been and always will be travel / adventure photography. It's been really bothering me that I've been struggling so much financially I haven't been able to do very much of it.
Met a girl, she was extremely beautiful, acted like she was all into me and when I showed some interest nothing. Oh well, she wasn't for me anyway. It was a brief moment of weakness when I got a a microscopic shred of hope up. I'm back to having given up on the whole thing.
I've not been up to a whole lot new lately. Trips to Springfield, went to the 1860s Lifestyles Expo at the Gray-Campbell Farmstead. It was really good and had a lot of fun. Also went to the Japanese Fall Festival. It was cold and raining at the fall festival so I didn't get as good or as many pictures as I normally would. I also didn't get to go on the better day, because I had to photograph a friend's wedding.
Went to a Monarch Butterfly release today in Springfield. I really didn't want to go to Springfield, I was tired and in a god awful mood all day. Kind of got pressured into taking my parents though. The butterfly release kind of sucked. It was crowded and people were so rude. I got a few pictures and left because I was about ready to start saying something to people. Everyone just kept butting in front of me, one guy even told his wife she could stand right in front of me to see better, didn't even care I was trying to take pictures. I don't mind when people accidentally walk in front of you or something like that. But today they were just butting in and being rude about it and not even caring.
Watched The Secret Life of Walter Mitty the other night. I saw it when it came out at the theater and loved it! I also watched 47 Ronin, which wasn't that great. I would give 47 Ronin a 5 out of 10. Good enough to watch once, but I wouldn't want to see it a second time. It was trying to be a historical film full of supernatural stuff. It should have either been real and historical or supernatural and less historical. Not surprised it didn't do well at the theaters.
Next movie I am really looking forward to is Fury about the World War II tank crew. It's late, I'm exhausted so this blog kind of sucks. I'm going to call it a night and jump in bed.
