Wanting it to storm
I spent most of the day sitting in front of the computer screen editing pictures. I did a photo shoot for a friend earlier this week and wanted to get the pictures finished tonight.
We did the photo shoot at Mother's Garden here in town. It was pretty early in the morning and there was a homeless guy there. You could tell he had spent the night and he had a ton of belongings and something hanging from a tree like a backpack. While I waited for my people to show up another photographer got there about the same time I did and was taking senior pictures for a guy. They left just before my people showed up. The homeless guy was pretty young in his 20s, he started sowing something at the table. Every now and then it sounded like he would clap and towards the end of taking pictures he started singing.
Most of the pictures turned out really good, there were only a couple I didn't care for. There are really no open spaces in Mother's Garden it's all trees. So a few times you got those spotted people pictures of bright light and shadows from the sunlight through the tree leaves. Most of the pictures turned out excellent though.
I don't know if the resolution on my camera is getting worse because it's old or if it's just in my head comparing it to newer cameras with better resolution. I really want a Nikon D7100, but can't afford it and probably won't be able to for a long long time.
Missouri had some pretty good storms today, but they were all well North of Lebanon in Central Missouri. We didn't even get a drop of rain here, I was disappointed. Tomorrow it is supposed to storm again with a cold front moving in behind it. I so love the rain, thunder and lightning.
I spend a great deal of time browsing photos on Flickr and I've noticed a lot of people seem to love this faded foggy look in pictures. I don't really get it, but I'm thinking about doing some just to add to the diversity of my site.
Baked a cherry pie tonight, love me some cherry pie! First day of October and fall is here so you've got to have pie.
I saw Ms. Kitty's kittens today for the first time. She had three of them, but I only got a good look at two. One is a light gray color and the other is dark with stripes. The dark colored one is a little boy and I caught him and played with him a little. He was so tiny and fragile!
I am going to call it a night, didn't get much sleep last night so I am hoping to make up for that tonight.
