A Quickie!

Today's blog is going to be a quickie because I'm tired and about to fall asleep. Right now I'm watching Pompeii: Back From The Dead. It's hosted by Don Wildman, the same guy who did one of my favorite shows Cities of The Underworld. I think I am going to have to put the rest of this on the DVR and catch it later so I can get to bed.
I worked last night and again tonight, but after I get off work tomorrow I will have the rest of Saturday off. I was considering going to see World War Z tomorrow, but I'm not so sure now. I checked Lebanon's Ritz and Springfield's Starplex and both were only showing the 3D version only in the evening. Very strange, it makes me wonder if they aren't expecting it to flop. It's gotten all the publicity of a big summer Blockbuster. I've been seeing trailers for months and Wal-Mart has been really pushing the books and even saw a sign for it by the entrance. My friend Jonathan said he thinks it seems overdone. I think overdone says it best! I'm all about the zombies, but I don't know about these high speed kamikaze zombies. Like the scene in the trailer where all the zombies are dog piling and climbing over each other to get to the top of a multi-story wall.... overdone.
I'm still willing to give it a shot, hoping it turns out to be good. I just may skip seeing it on a Saturday night. To short of notice to try and bother finding a date and I don't want to go solo on a Saturday night and fight the crowds.
Glad to see the stock market finally dropped yesterday, not sure why people are acting so surprised or coming up with "reasons" like the Fed relaxing stimulus. It was overprice, overbought and it's a correction. It's not a bad thing it dropped, market volatility is natural, it's how people make money. When the market is down it's doom and gloom and the end of the world is near, when the market is up it's raining money and farting sunshine. When it's farting sunshine, you sell. When there is blood in the streets, that is when you buy!
Time to get to bed, I'm exhausted. Yesterday my mom was talking about how much she wanted a bacon, egg and cheese biscuit for breakfast from Hardee's. But she said she wanted to sleep in today until 10:00 and by then it would be to late to get breakfast. So after I got off work I stayed up and went to Hardee's and surprised her with breakfast.
