In case you haven't heard, it's cold!

           Not a whole lot has been going on here the last couple days. We ended up getting I would guess around nine inches of snow. It was very dry snow and it has been windy so in some places the drifts are two feet deep.
           I have just been staying inside because of the snow and cold temperatures. The other night it got down to -9F with a windchill of -36. It's been a long time since it has been that cold around here!
           Haven't seen Mrs. Kitty in a while, but Yellow has come by twice. You would think with the cold weather they would stay where their warm beds are and where the food is at, but it seems to be the opposite.
            Today I shoveled off the sidewalk and a path to the mailbox. It was a little warmer today and got up to about 30 degrees, I didn't think it was to bad out.
             Tonight I watched the movie Hot Rod with Andy Samberg. It's an older movie from 2007. It is certainly not great, but not bad either. It had some funny parts that made me laugh.
              Cabin fever is starting to set in a little, I'm ready to get out of the house soon. Get some hiking in at Bennett Springs, Ha Ha Tonka, go to Springfield..... I'm just ready to go!
