#42 The Meaning of Life: To live.

Today I went to Silver Dollar City and got some incredible pictures. When I got up this morning I checked the radar map on Ky3 and all the nasty weather was going North of Branson. The park wasn't very busy at all, which was great! It was such a quiet day as I was leaving the driver of the tram to the parking lot joked "I hope everyone is in lot 1,2, or 3, because those are the only lots we have cars in."
I didn't watch very many shows today, just The Russian Academic Band. I lucked out and their singer had the black and red dress on again. I'm going to upload all the pictures and then I'll work on some artistic edits in a couple days when I get some more time off work. I want to make the pictures black and white and just leave the red on her outfit in color. I really enjoyed the concert, she was one of the best jazz singers I've seen and she could scat!
One of the coolest things I got to take pictures of today at Silver Dollar City were the Italian street performers. There were two women dressed in makeup on stilts and covered up with vines like Mother Nature. They were very photogenic and again I think these pictures will turn out amazing!!!  I also photographed the glass blowers for a while and just spent the rest of the time walking around taking pictures. For lunch I had a hamburger and french fries and a big slice of cheese cake. The food down there is really good, but very expensive!
On the way home I stopped at Sam's Club to get gas and I had talked to my mom on the phone and she wanted me to run in and pick her up a few things. When I was about a block away from Sam's I heard and advertisement on the radio for them and they had something special going like a non-member day or something. Anyway it was packed, so I didn't stay long and just ran in and out quickly and didn't even bother getting a soda.

Friday I went to Springfield and it was really windy! I went to the Close Memorial Park, but it was so windy I couldn't get very good pictures of the flowers it was blowing them around so violently. I got a couple good shots though. Stopped by Sam's Club again to kill some time till my friends show started and then just ended up driving around Springfield for a while to kill some more time. I saw a homeless girl and ended up stopping and giving her $5.00 and talking to her for a while and made sure she had a place to go for the night because it was supposed to storm. Then I went on to my friends show.
So the show, was a drag show. Both guys dressed up as women and women dressed up as guys. I had never been to anything like it before. It was a mix of comedy and a lot of lip syncing. It's not reall my thing, but it was fun. That kind of stuff doesn't bother me like it does a lot of people. If you look at my photography I go to all kinds of shows from all over the world and I just look at it like them as a different culture in the world.
Saturday was just a completely lazy day! I didn't even bother shaving or combing my hair, I just lounged around the house, played some Xbox and took a nap.
