Fun day, boring night!

Facebook is a ghost town tonight, so I thought I would write in my blog while I lay here watching King of Queens. I think the character Carrie on this show makes an amazing wife! I'd settle down if a girl like that came along!
Today I went to the Battle of Monday's Hollow civil war reenactment in Camden County. It was the second day of the reenactment. I figured the first day would have been rained out so I didn't go. Somehow they avoided the rain even though it poured all day here in Lebanon.
It didn't rain today, but it was really cloudy. The reenactors just didn't seem like they were in the mood to do much posing for pictures, but overall it was a good reenactment. As most reenactments go it is just them having pretend battles and not being historically accurate to the battle. But if they had it probably wouldn't have been very exciting and over very quickly.
I got a lot of pictures and made a quick video of the battle. Once again I just used my Nikon because I didn't feel like lugging around a backpack to carry all my camera gear so I left my camcorder in the Jeep.  The video is up on Youtube, but as of right now I only put one picture up on Flickr.
I was planning on taking off on a road trip tomorrow, but once again the weatherman is predicting rain. I was going to go to the Arcadia Valley region of Missouri, but now I'm not sure what I will do. All year we have had a major drought, I go on vacation and the heavens decide to open up! I'm thinking get a hair cut and I might go to Springfield. I haven't been to the mall in forever and I might go see the new Resident Evil movie.
