Bacon
I fell asleep last night watching Wayne's World, which is bad because I have to work overnight tonight. I had to work a morning shift yesterday, which ended up being really busy and only getting about five hours sleep the night before I was pretty tired. Thankfully Friday is my last day and then I'm done for good!
Flickr is back trying to pick a fight with me today. I added a lot of photos to my favorites this morning and as I was going along the little favorite star would turn purple as it should. But then when I looked at my favorites none of them had saved. I've managed to favorite some today, but it's been hit and miss on if they save or not. I have three different browsers Google Chrome, Internet Explorer and Firefox. Of the three Chrome seems to work the best with Flickr.
The cord to my old laptop died this morning and being a pack rat paid off! I had been struggling with it for a while, having to wiggle it just right to get it to connect and charge the laptop. I wasn't having any luck this morning though. I noticed plastic insulation was cracked and you could almost see some of the wires in the cord it was getting so bad. I had thought it was the little piece inside the laptop causing the bad connection, not the cord. Fortunately I still had the cord from my old netbook and it seems to work! I think this cord started out on my mom's netbook which broke, after the cord went bad on my netbook I used hers to replace it, now it's powering my old laptop.
This morning I had bacon and biscuits for breakfast. I took a piece of bacon out to my cat in the garage to see if she would eat it. So she jumped up on the table where I pet her and I held out the piece of bacon for her. She sniffed it, licked it once and then took it in her mouth and jumped off the table, ran over into the corner and hunched down over it like "My Precioussssss!" and started eating it. I don't think I've seen her so excited about anything in my life! Usually when I bring her toys she had rather me pet her and then play with them after I'm gone. I must have found the one thing she loves more than me, bacon.
Watched The Dictator last night and it was "ok". I had seen most of it before, it has it's funny moments and some of the movie is just shock value. I mostly just had it on for background noise while I was online and didn't want to be distracted by a movie I really wanted to see.
Randomness
- Saw my friend's status on Facebook saying she was at Silver Dollar City. Made me crave the pork rinds and a funnel cake. Or even one of their hamburgers from the Lumberjack Camp. If you are ever in the park and want a hamburger a lot of the places sell them, but they are the best at the Lumberjack Camp.
- Really excited to be off work for a while. Since December I haven't taken very many pictures or done a whole lot. Makes me feel like I haven't been myself.
