Another Life Update
I'm laying in bed watching Sarah Silverman: We Are Miracles comedy special on HBO. Some of her jokes are funny, most of it is just shock value. It's just background noise while I'm on the internet.
This week I have been watching a lot of movies lately. The Princess Bride, The Seven Year Itch, Future Sport, Elf, and some Christmas specials on tv. Tonight I watched the Country Music Awards and then the Victoria's Secret fashion show.
I have never watched the Victoria's Secret fashion show before. I really liked the music! Some of the outfits were cool, others just weird. I loved the wings though! I would like to have a few of them to take photos with. The girls really didn't do anything for me. Some of them have pretty faces, but they are just to skinny for my tastes.
I've been thinking about looking for a job after Christmas. I've been trying to make a go with a business, but I knew it was a long shot. The main thing is I'm under capitalized which is no surprise. I've not given up on it, just some extra income would be nice. I also feel like I've wasted a lot of time lately. I have been a lot less productive than I wanted to be. I gotta get my butt in gear!
It seems like every so often I fall into a rut and forget who I am. I don't know if that makes since, I just feel like I've stalled out. I've not had the money to go out and do stuff like I used to. I miss hiking, exploring and discovering new places. My body sure knows it! I'm getting soft, I'm so out of shape right now. I want to lose a bunch of weight, need to start taking better care of myself.
The cats outside are doing fine, but I've not made much progress. Managed to get Mrs. Kitty close enough the other day to grab her and bring her inside again for about an hour. She still runs from me outside and I don't know if I'll ever get the wildness out of her.
I've got all my Christmas shopping done, just need to pick up a small gift for my stepdad. I had to take my mom for a doctor appointment in Springfield last week. While she was waiting I went to a few places in Springfield. I got my stepdad a giant gag Christmas card about two feet tall at Spencers. It says something like I had a really hard time finding a card with big enough print for someone your age to read. I got my mom a really expensive candle at Yankee Candle in Springfield. She got one from there a while back and loved it, but couldn't find it again. I lucked out and got the last one they had.
