Flickr Remodel and Cyber Scams
Yesterday I started reorganizing my Flickr collections. I deleted them all and started over completely from scratch. Stayed up until almost 4 a.m. working on it and then spent a good portion of today on it as well. It's almost finished, I just have to add collection mosaics to about half the collections still which shouldn't take long. I'm just tired and don't feel like finishing it tonight, going to relax and watch The Office on Netflix for a while.
Flickr has a lot of bugs when it comes to editing your collections. It makes it frustrating and time consuming. They need to keep it simple, but instead they keep trying to improve it even when it's not what the users want. They have really lost a lot of users because of that too!
I was on Facebook the other day and this girl added me as her contact. I'm thinking scammer, because it's a brand new profile with only a handful of new contacts and very little information. But hey we all have to start somewhere right? She started talking to me today and her English and spelling wasn't very good. Hey ok, mine isn't either and I know a lot of people who are worse so again benefit of the doubt. Then she wants me to send her a picture so she can see what I look like. I have a ton of pictures on my Facebook go look at them! So I send one and she starts talking about relationships. I make it pretty clear I'm not interested, but she keeps on and starts trying to get in a relationship with me. First off a girl hitting on me, yeah red flag right there! Then she's met me like five minutes ago, doesn't know anything about me. Really you can find out a lot about me online, but I'm pretty sure she hadn't since she needed a picture! I was like it's pretty obvious you are a scammer and then blocked her.
Yesterday I went with my mom to Gusano's pizza in Springfield to eat. We had a certificate I bought online to get half off. When we pulled in we thought the place was closed because business was dead and it was a holiday. But the open light was on in the window and I could hear music playing on their outdoor dining patio. Walked in and were like hey we've got this certificate can we use it on the buffet. And the girl was like "that's fine". So we eat buffet, I think the pizza is pretty good, but my mom doesn't like it. She just mostly eats the topping off her pizza because she doesn't like the crust. We finish eating and it's time to pay and all off a sudden they can't use the coupon for the buffet. I was not happy! It doesn't say anything on the coupon that you can't use it for buffet, when we walked in the door they said it was fine.
After Gusano's we drove around Nathanael Greene Park and then came home. She gets really tired and can't stay out very long, it stinks :(
