The Cats
So last night I made some big progress with the stray cats outside. I went out on the back porch to give the cats some treats and Hello Kitty had something trapped under a metal bucket on the back porch. I figured it was just a bug and I walked over to her half expecting her to run. She was pretty focuses though and just lurked around to the other side of the bucket. There were some flower pots around it, so I lifted the bucket up for her and there was a mouse underneath. She pounced right on it and got it.
Now she likes me a lot more! I went out a little while later and she let me pet her a little more trustingly. And today she let me pet her and acts a whole lot more trusting of me. She will sniff my fingers, let me pet her for a few seconds and doesn't spook so easily.
Yellow is maybe becoming a little to trusting. I went out and gave them a can of food and some treats and went back inside and Yellow decided to join me. He made it about three feet into the house before I scooped him up and put him back outside.
I realized how big he is when I picked him up! I knew he was a big cat, but dang! He's probably twice the size of Hello Kitty. A lot of cats look big, but they are a lot of hair. And then you have cats which are big because they are fat. He's big and he's solid, he's like the Arnold Schwarzenegger of cats. No wonder he beats up all the other tom cats in the neighborhood. For being a scraper, having all these battle wounds and a broken tale, the cats so cool. He's one of the most relaxed easy going cats I've ever seen.

It's been kind of a boring day, I didn't sleep good last night so I didn't feel like doing a whole lot today. Added a few photos to Flickr and played Xbox for a while.
