Saturday
I thought today was supposed to be warm, but I guess not until Monday or Tuesday. I hitched a ride along with my parents to Springfield because I had some shoes and socks to take back to Academy. We got kind of a late start on the day because they felt like sleeping in.
Had lunch at Ziggie's, the food wasn't that great again. This is about the fourth time in a row I've eaten there and the food has been disappointing, so it may be a while before I go back.
My parents really wanted to go to the movies. If I had been by myself my choice would have been Robocop, but they wouldn't have liked that one. They wanted to see The Lego Movie. I would have kind of liked to see it too, it looked funny, but after yesterday and this week I really did not feel like watching a movie today. Pulling into a almost completely full parking lot made me want to see it even less. I was pretty relieved when we walked in to get the tickets and the next three showtimes were sold out.
Filled up the gas tank at Sam's, ran into Academy to get the refund, stopped by Andy's to get my mom a milkshake and Braum's to get a gallon of milk, then to Pet Smart real fast to use a coupon. That was pretty much the trip to Springfield.
On the way home I was messing with the radio and found out the previous owners left their playlist uploaded in it, over 400 songs. There was a little bit of everything! Willie Nelson, Ludacris, Ozzy Osbourne, Milly Cyrus, Buddy Holly. They just got the new fan this week, it's pretty nice.
On the way home it started sprinkling rain and then we ran into some sleet. I was surprised by the sleet, it got up to around 50 today. But I think the temp dropped really fast again as we were headed home.
I'm really looking forward to a nice day to go to Ha Ha Tonka.
