Winter is still lurking around

Yesterday I drove to St. Robert to try the Colton's Steakhouse down there. It was ok, but not nearly as good as the one in Springfield. The exterior and the interior of the building looked really nice, but it was only built about two years ago. Everything was looked clean too. The big difference was the management, you could tell they were cutting every corner possible to save money.
In Springfield the silverware is wrapped in a cloth napkin, where in St. Robert it was wrapped in a paper towel. We asked for extra napkins and they gave us these little tiny square napkins, which I think are actually supposed to be used as coasters to set your drink on. In Springfield the seasoning comes in a branded Colton's bottle, St. Robert just the same type of bottle as the salt and pepper shakers. So I'm guessing it wasn't Colton's seasoning, but a cheaper brand. The tea was not nearly as good and tasted like regular generic tea, in Springfield it is some of the best tea I've ever had. I had a hamburger which was about 3/4 the size of the one I normally get in Springfield. The buns were also smaller and the side of okra my mom got was also smaller. There were other things we noticed to, but you get the picture. The one in Springfield is a whole lot better and it's the one we will be going back to.
The weather is supposed to be turning really nasty again. I guess starting tonight it's supposed to start, but nothing to bad until Sunday and then they said perhaps an ice storm. Everybody is already freaking out about it and I'm just over here like it is going to do what it is going to do.
