Tomorrow doesn't start until I wake up.

I've chosen to just stay home and be lazy this weekend. I thought about going to Autofest in Springfield, but it's mostly the same cars every year. Plus the weather is pretty bad again, foggy, rainy and a some ice. I went one year when the weather was bad like this and the turnout was horrible. I can't blame them, those cars are their babies and they don't want to take them out when the roads are nasty and covered in salt. Plus with the Super Bowl tomorrow I figure most of them will skip it to watch the game and have parties.
Ms. Kitty and Yellow our two adopted strays are doing good. They show up in the evening and stay late at night, but by the time we get up in the morning they have left for the day.
This week I got offers from Rural Missouri Magazine to publish some photos. Also Applebee's contacted me to use some photos in some new restaurants they are building in Oklahoma. This is the second or third time Applebee's has asked to use my photos to display in their restaurants. I get a little plaque with my name engraved on it below the pictures is what they said, Rural Missouri I'll just my name by the pictures in the magazine if they use anything.
I was reading about the volcano eruption today in Indonesia and thinking how I would love to photograph it. I think if I was born 20 years earlier I would have been a news photographer going to war zones, photographing volcanic eruptions, hurricanes, trekking the jungles. Now technology has made it where that job is pretty much obsolete.
I've really had the urge to go hiking, but the weather has turned bad again. It's been raining off and on and partially freezing. Luckily most of the bad stuff went North of us tonight, but they are talking about snow later on this week. I may just bundle up and go anyway rain or snow, adds to the adventure. I'll pretend I'm in Alaska.
Tomorrow I'm going to watch the Super Bowl and maybe order a pizza.
